SoCal Huevos Rancheros Recipe
Everyone loves a good homecooked breakfast. This one is so good, you'll want it for dinner too!
- 3 eggs
- 3 street style flour tortillas (x-small taco size)
- 3 Muenster cheese slices
- Pinto beans
- Cooking oil
- Chile flakes
- SoCal Hot Sauce, Original Red
- SoCal Craft Select Series Hot Sauce – Cremosa Asada
Heat a frying pan with ½ inch of oil on med-high heat. Flash fry the tortillas until a light golden-brown color. Set aside on a paper towel covered plate.
Pour a 12 oz can of pinto beans into a saucepan, add 1 tablespoon of SoCal’s Original Red Hot Sauce and heat until warm.
Cook eggs over medium so the yolk is still runny.
Now, build your plate. Place a crispy tortilla on the bottom, spoon a little bit of beans, place an egg on top and add a slice of cheese on top of that. Repeat two more times. You should now have a triple layered serving of huevos rancheros.
Finishing touches. Pour your desired amount of SoCal’s Cremosa Asada over your huevos ranchers and sprinkle with chile flakes and chopped cilantro.
