Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 street style flour tortillas (x-small taco size)
  • 3 Muenster cheese slices
  • Pinto beans
  • Cooking oil
  • Chile flakes
  • Cilantro
  • SoCal Hot Sauce, Original Red
  • SoCal Craft Select Series Hot Sauce – Cremosa Asada

Directions

  1. Heat a frying pan with ½ inch of oil on medium-high heat. Flash fry the tortillas until a light golden-brown color. Set aside on a paper towel covered plate.
  2. Pour a 12 oz can of pinto beans into a saucepan, add 1 tablespoon of SoCal’s Original Red Hot Sauce and heat until warm.
  3. Cook eggs over medium so the yolk is still runny.
  4. Now, build your plate. Place a crispy tortilla on the bottom, spoon a little bit of beans, place an egg on top and add a slice of cheese on top of that. Repeat two more times. You should now have a triple layered serving of huevos rancheros.
  5. Finishing touches. Pour your desired amount of SoCal’s Cremosa Asada over your huevos rancheros and sprinkle with chile flakes and chopped cilantro.
